Plot summary

A container truck driver, Hùng, lives an idyllic life with his little daughter, An. The father and daughter become the closest companions in every journey with their orange container truck. Life goes on like that until An has to leave her father to go to school. One day, Hùng is informed that An is suffering from severe depression. Relying on his old skills in the past and finding out the truth, Hùng becomes enraged and painful to know that his little girl was kidnapped by a male stranger. Starting his lone and intense journey looking for and chasing after the unknown abuser, Hùng realizes that to hunt down that psychopath he has to counter the massive underground forces behind him.

Awful montage

I was pleased to watch a movie from a country that has not a lot of action movies. Damn this is not good at all... Acting is ok, though. But the worst is the montage! You understand the story vaguely, although it's not a complex one. Scenes are cut straight, action is totally missing. I will def not recommend.

Terrible editing and polite bad guys that comes 1 by 1

I love myself a martial arts movie so when i found this one, it looked promising based on the trailer and the way said trailer was edited. Turned out the trailer was much better edited than the actual movie.Basically a father drop his daughter ...somewhere (its unclear), tell her he will see her in 10 days, but in the mean time for whatever reason said daughter goes to a truck place (cause her father is a trucker) and she get kidnapped by a pdo's henchmen.This should lead to a basic revenge/rescue story but for some unknown reason the daughter is found unclearly right away to a point i was wondering what happened. Took me several minutes to figure out if my movie skipped or something... And thats no spoiler its just the beginning. Our character then goes on what i assume is a revenge quest but decide that he is gonna go Gung-Ho and try to take down an army of bad guys with his fists 1 vs 30?Movie simply makes no sense from either a story standpoint or when it comes to editing. I get it, asian movies love this trope of multiple guys vs one, but when you litterally see everyone patiently waiting their turns, it just take me out of the movie. Some movies manage to hide this better with clever cameras etc, this is not one of them.Then at one point i am not joking, we see the main character on the road driving and next scene he is engaged in a fight with a bad guy... What editing is this?Then you got one character that is introduced in the most randomly way possible turn out to be important to the story but the main character barely interacted with them.This movie is a mess of editing... Its like they filmed some scenes that got lost in an Hard Drive crash or something. Its only 90 minutes but it still manage to have fillers and dragging that could had been much better used for a more coherent stories.And among all of that, what about the fights? They are....barely ok ...if you can pass the whole "wait your turn like its a turn base RPG that is super obvious". But personally i was not impressed.Basically they managed to screw up one of the easiest form of movies you can make. A revenge/rescue action movie. All you need to do is make me care for the main character and the person they gonna rescue and have some cool fights/actions while keeping it semi realistic. This movie fail on every levels of that.Again, not joking, but one of the main antagonist seem to disapear from the movie at some point while the movie then add some new ones that get disposed right away.Its a 3 out of 10... its way below average. Its hard to follow, the movie barely makes sense, the fights could had been decent if they actually filmed it better and didn't exagerated the bad guys numbers or made the main character smarter. But i was bored all movie and didn't even cared for any characters, wich is unforgiveable in a movie that is about such heavy thematics.

Had all the chances to be good but wasted them all.

The little daughter of an ex Special Forces Soldier is kidnapped by a pedophile human traficker. So far that sounds like a good enough plott for a decent action movie, you think!? Well, unless that Special Force Soldier doesn't even think about picking up a gun to free his kid - but instead fist fights his way through the whole damn movie, not killing any of the opponents on the way. Somehow it seems they forget to include the classicsl szene whete the ex sildier takes out gis secret stash if wespons to clean iut the bad guys. In some countries this movie is titled 578 Magnum. Which is especially funny since the main charakter doesn't pick up no gun throughout the whole film! Every now and then while watching this flic I couldn't help but feel that sone pages of the script went missing while filming. Sometimes the story jumps back and forward and leaves one clueless about what's actually going on. People appear without any explaination of who they are or why they are there. Like, for example, that scene where that female fighter appears to save the Special Force guy and his kid, after he tried once more to take up a fistfight battle with an whole army of bodyguards.Actually I really liked the actors, unfortunately they couldn't make up for the lack in writing and Directing. The Skript really can't keep up with productions like The Equalizer , The Night comes for us, or Shadow Strays. If you like to see a good action movie better watch one of those instead. This one really can't deliver.
