Twenty-eight days after a killer virus was accidentally unleashed from a British research facility, a small group of London survivors are caught in a desperate struggle to protect themselves from the infected. Carried by animals and humans, the virus turns those it infects into homicidal maniacs -- and it's absolutely impossible to contain.
I don't know a 4K version with benefit this movie, hell not even the 1080p, the 720p is more than sufficient. This movie was shot with a dv camera (that's 480p!), for the exemption of the last three minutes which are on film.
cant believe i searched everywhere else for a better quality, not knowing that the film was actually shot intentionally on old quality..ii feel so stupid :)
To everyone else trying to catch up on the 28 film series before the next film, the quality of this one is 'meant' to look how it does. Shot on a camera with dvd quality.
@phuque_Heighters: Even though it's technically not a traditional zombie film, it has enough similarities with the genre to be regularly categorised and popularly known as a zombie film.
Oh, and this IS NOT a zombie film. Zombies are animated dead bodies, but victims of the rage virus are still alive. If anything, it is the closest thing to 'the Crossed' seen on film. Still NOT zombies though.
