Plot summary

Though not in my top 10 favourite horror

Though not in my top 10 favourite horror films. 100 Bloody acres is an extremely odd yet weirdly charming horror film, with 'questionable' moments. Be warned the film is a very crude, black-comedy. But, with a great cast it makes for an enjoyable watch.

100 Bloody Acres" rolls into the horror comedy

"100 Bloody Acres" rolls into the horror comedy scene with a bang and a bucket of blood. This Australian flick brings the laughs, thanks to some well-written dialogue and a standout performance from Angus Sampson. The special effects are a gore-hound's dream, with gruesome scenes that look disgustingly realistic. But, as with any road trip, there are some bumps in the ride. The film throws in plenty of horror clichés, which, while familiar, don't quite add to the thrill factor. The pacing is a bit like a car with a bad transmission – sometimes it roars, but often it just putters along. It's a bit slow, to be honest. Nonetheless, "100 Bloody Acres" delivers its fair share of dark humor and gore, making it a decent horror comedy flick. So, if you're in the mood for a trip down a bumpy, blood-soaked road, buckle up and give it a go. Just don't expect a smooth ride!

Simple and awesome. Not bad at all for

Simple and awesome. Not bad at all for an indie Aussie film. The humour is interjected at the right times, the dialogue and interaction flows smooth and believable, and the Aussie larrakin spirit is woven throughout. Pretty entertaining and worth a watch. Great gore.
